Been an extremely busy week for me for I had to juggle between clients that are unreasonable an social responsibilities. Cong arrived in SG on Wed and I feel obliged to bring him around to take in the sights and beauty of sunny SG. Afterall, he showed me a side of Saigon that was more than what a tourist can ever expect. Planned for dinner to be at a hawker centre, but AK invited us all over to his place for a hearty meal of claypot rice. He is such a good cook and host with exceptional amount of energy to educate us on a lifetsyle that I might never know. From luxurious cruise liners to fashion statements. It is always nice to just gather and hear what he has to say.
I have to say that I clubbed real hard last night- Mox, Bianco and Happy. The people were so much fun and there was electicity in the air. I started out feeling uneasy and all with the crowd, especially in my Nike top. It was sportswear as a theme and we were suppose to be dressed for the occassion. I just cannot stand being seen in a nike tee at the clubs. It just isn't me. I was so uncomfortable. And to make matters worse, I was spotted by my boss in abid to change into something "decent" in the car. Fashion suicide! I wonder if my boss was judging me by the unsightly tee that I was clothe in. Aiyoh! To think that I am in a job that requires me to be in the know of fashion and luxury lifetstyle. Was dancing wildly at Bianco with a crowd of less than 50. The community is no longer excited about happy nor mox. It feels like the business is suffering a great blow. Taboo on the other hand gathers a crowd that is alost impossible to fit into the club. The queue was long and everyone wants to relive the decadent lifestyle of aj clubbing. A new club must resurrect admist the grey times and hope that a new club will surface to cater to the discerning clubber.
