Friday was simple and down to earth.
Finally a week has passed since I joined the company. No major dramas as yet, all good and peaceful. To celebrate my 1 week at work, I went to Magma a German restaurant just down the road from my office. Nice ambience with good service. Decided to feast myself on a delicous set lunch.
Evening was at the opening of The Cathay Gallery. A contrastingly different feel from the grand opening. The attendees for the opening consisted of family and friends of The Cathay. Many of them could relate to and even discuss the origins of the exhibits. For that matter, the crowd was also of a certain age that I could not relate to. Hahaha. Dun mind me, but I was so sure that I was the second youngest ofthe audience with IM being the youngest. LoLx. The fun bit was the bits of story from the owner of some of the exhibits. Muahaha....it was farnie....pure indulgence just to know where there "originated" from. Thanks IM for the invite, even though we were looking high and low for....ahem...alcohol. hahaha.
We adjorned to Q bar for drinks. But it all came crashng down when we were actually refused entry. Know why? Coz we were all underaged. OMG! So embarassing, not been turned down at a club in I dunno when! Haha....so we headed to Winebar, laggi worse, it started pouring cats and dogs. "Swaying" till the bottom of a friday evening. LoLx. But it all started to get better when we cosied ourselves at the bar. Drinks and chat just makes it so perfect for friends to catch up. =)
