A Bottle Tree and a guy name Adrian

What a difference a Sunday make. A shocking morning for me when I headed out to send my mum to run some errands. The car was vandalised! I could hardly believe the sight infront of me, the scratch must have been fresh with dust forming from the paintwork. The scratch was a long one starting from the bonnet to the boot. The car that was beside mine was also attacked with less visible scratch but equally long. I suppose coz his car was in black and that made the difference. Made a police report and hopefully they can up patrols around the vicinity. Bugger! Brunch was with TO, a friend that I have not met since April. Took him to a chinese restaurant in Chinatown, Red Star. We spent the hour catching up on the happenings of our lives. It is always pleasent to catch up over Dim Sim even when we communicate regularly over MSN and the phone. So much has happened in his life and it made me smile to know that he is happier in his current state. And we can never seem to get enough talking about the media in SG and my previous job. Hahaha. Headed over to The Cathay to check out the mall with TO. Afterall, he has yet to see how it looks like after the Grand opening. He did a quick "face-lift" at browhaus and we ended up in the salon INSPIRATION. With chic and model style interor deco, it was rather up lifting for the mood. Yes, he decided to trim his hair at the salon with a 10% thrown in for a student. The stylist tried persuading me to give her cut a try, but I declined politely. I think I would not trust someone else as my stylist has been trying to let me spot a different look.

Silly and clumsy me made a boo boo with the Cash Card. I took out the cash card to have it topped-up but I think I dropped it while walking around the mall. Thanks to the security, they managed to settle the problem in the easiest way- Pay by cash.

Dinner was nice with my family. It is not always easy to gather all of us together for a good meal, considering that most of us are grown up and have our own life. It was a nice effort and my dad recommended this place at Sembawang- Bottle Tree Village. I had no idea that SG actually has a place that grows Australian breed of plants. And this was the very place that play house to a few bottle trees. They looked amazing with the backdrop of mood lighting and resort like building. Food was served just at beside the beach with lapping waves that is audible in a few metres away. The food served was also delicious. The whole time I was actually thinking of how I can get my way there. It is a long drive for SG standard and not easi to find as it goes into a forest like road. If I were to bring LL here, it would be perfect but I want to drink. LoLx. I dun drink and drive. And BTW, BYO is at only $5 a bottle. Cheapest I know in SG. I better start packing and get ready for another week of work. And next week is pay day! LoLx. Finally.
