Whilst I am still trying to recover from post-serial syndrome, I managed to find time for a very special friend, JW. Been awhile since the both of us actually sat down and chat on the happenings of of lives. We used to spend so much time together in Perth on my very nice futon mattress, watching Simpsons, Who wants to be a millionaire etc. Thus were the days, when I just had to whip up some Thai dish and made the evening a TV night, with dessert and a glass of wine to make the evening a nice one.
Anyways, lunch was at FrontRow and I had a Terri-Torry-Chicken, it was delicious! I am not a fan of cold, veggie laid sandwiches, but that was simply divine to every mouthful. Designer Jonathan Seow came shortly after we arrived to check on his merchandise. JW was not familiar with the designer and his clothes and so I did a brief introduction on his Homme collection just a storey above. His designs blew JW away with shirts that were carved with an edge and prices that are not so affordable for an umemployed. FrontRow managed to brought in a more wearable collection this time around. A.P.C had a few nice pieces as well, with structured materials and vintage buttons.
The lunch and shopping date ended at a gift shop beside the scarlett Hotel. BL would really have enjoyed the gift items that were on sale. I for one fell in love with this glass made post card, very pretty.
JW, thanks for the lovely afternoon and making a could be boring afternoon for moi enjoyable.
