Attack of the abalones

Abalones! Glorious Abalones!

I must admit that I have never seen so many living abalones before. They were like crawling on the reef. The sight was breathtaking, the brilliant sunshine and lapping waves. It was not easy prying loose the abalones. It would have been easier if there wasn't a specified minimum size on the abalones. Worrying that the inspectors might perform a spot check, I had to return the smaller pieces back into the sea. Afterall, 1 undersized abalone would cost me A$24. At the end of the day, Managed to bring home 5 pieces of abalones. Most likely to prepare "buddha jump over the wall".

After a nap, it was KTV with Jason. Have to start training my vocals. Especially when I start singing KTV with the "pros". Must at least be good enough and not make myself a joke lah. The evening ended with pizzas and great TV programs. Australian Idol and a preview to Kylie's soon to be release DVD, Showgirl. The official launch will be on 9th December! At least I can still own a copy of the concert DVD, when the actually thing has been cancelled.
