Spring Blossoms

Since the Birthday of Spring on the 1st of September, the weather has been unkind. I suppose that is how the weather reacts towards a change in season. To me, it is just wet and gloomy... … not that my current emotions and feelings were helping.

Rained the whole night and I simply had no mood to proceed to school. But I knew I had to as I had a test at 8.30am. While I was walking towards the bus stop, I was trying so hard to dodge the water puddles. (Yikes!)However, I was greeted with a field of twinkling yellow flowers…it seriously made my morning.

The sight made my day but it also taught me something about relationships.

Relationships are never easy and they sometimes break you. It does get stormy at times but that is definitely no reason to give up on love. Only through trials can one grow to understand the true meaning of love. And we never know when the sun might just take a peep and bring sunshine into our lives. When that happens, we know that the flowers will certainly stand out high. No matter how harsh or wet a winter, it can never beat the warmth the sun brings.

It has been a cold winter with emotions that we do not need. Maybe the events that tore us stands as a trial. A trial for us to ensure that summer will be the season when we can feel love all over again. I can’t wait for summer!

In the meantime, spring still blossoms.
